I say they will post results , tell after the AZ Game & Fish expo this weekend , that way everyone will go out there . I'm sure alot of hunters wont go ,if they didnt draw . :(

I know why thay have not done the draw yet....

They posted the job opening on Azstatejobs.gov There is no one to do the draw this year... and with the state of the state's economy they are keeping everyone's checks, sense the state wants to take away the heritage fund and use it else where...ha ha ha

Description

This position administers all lotteries drawing for big game hunts in the state of Arizona. This position supervises hunt/draw representatives engaged in providing information and services to the public as well as administrative services to internal and external customers pertaining to agency guidelines, policies, procedures, laws, and rules. This position plans, assigns, and coordinates the flow of work within unit; recommends and implements goals, objectives, schedules, methods, policies and procedures for the work unit; interprets, develops and implements relevant program or operational rules and regulations to work activities; coordinates the collection, summarization, analysis and review of data necessary for the preparation of financial and management reports necessary to reconcile approximately $30,000,000.00 in sales annually. Reviews work products of hunt/draw staff for accuracy; evaluates performance, coaches and disciplines staff members as necessary; performs accounting functions such as reconciliation of accounts receivable and budget; resolves complaints from customers and serves as technical resource for agency staff; composes correspondence in response to customer inquiries or complaints, and gathers data in response to public records requests.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs): The ideal candidate must have at least three years of Customer Service Supervisory experience; at least two years experience in the interpretation of State and Federal Laws; and two years experience in reconciling revenue and sales and a strong background with statistical and financial reports. The candidate must be very knowledgeable with the use of computer software such as Excel, Access, and Microsoft applications. The ideal candidate will have good oral, written and interpersonal communication; knowledge in problem resolution, customer service and supervisory principles and techniques; principles and practices of effective public administration; skill in basic accounting functions such as reconciliation of accounts receivable, budgeting; rules, regulations, policies, procedures, systems, and all other applicable Arizona Revised Statutes.

Didnt we just do this in July????? Why do we have to suffer twice a year. Is once not E-FREAKING-NOUGH for you 'gods' at the azgfd????????????????????

Crazy idea but if you look at this post there have been hundreds of people reading and writing about time, day and month the tags are coming out. I think what we (Amanda) should have a contest, which person can get the month, day and time the tags will come out. Every participant most send in a dollar with first prize being a shirt or something and the money going to the winners favorite hunting or gun organization in AZ. Would be fun I think. Or something along those lines. :blink: ;) :lol:

I think they came out last year before the EXPO. They had a great turn out too.

I would also think that having the results out before the expo would help to recruit people to the show. Those that are first time hunters or the youth would have more of a reason to get involved and go to see what the expo has to offer. However, I can see the point on people being upset and not attending.
