AZelkhunter Report post Posted March 17, 2010 Does anybody know of some decent light weight 20x binoculars for under 500 bucks?
youngbuck Report post Posted March 17, 2010 The only 20s ive seen people used have been the steiner 20x80s. They are more than double that though
Red Rabbit Report post Posted March 17, 2010 Nope. Several years ago on a sheep hunt, i looked through some Cabelas 20x, but was unimpressed with their clarity, as was with some Pentax PCF. You might check the birding sites or astro/star sites for their talk. http://www.cloudynights.com/category.php?c...=61&pr=2x48 For near 500 bucks, I would go with the 15X Minox from Cameraland, and have some resolution to distinguish between a rock and a deer.
