matthewp45 Report post Posted March 9, 2010 Very cool! I have always wanted to get in to bow fishing. This may be the year I finally try it out. Congrats on all the carp. Did you fry those mud suckers up for dinner or leave them on the bank for the coyotes?

azhunter85 Report post Posted March 9, 2010 i usually doo use the same bow but this year i bought a new one so i could use my old bow just for fishing. the bow she is using is one i bought from ams bowfishing website. come set up ready to shoot and is very adjustable, works realy nice. the water is pretty murky right now and you would have a heck of a time wading in the water trying to sneak up on them, the visability is too tough. but hopefully it ll will settle soon. tjhunt2 Report post Posted March 9, 2010 Looks like a bunch of fun. Does she work at the Payson hospital? I was doing a phone survey the other day of what I thought of the Payson hospital, while in for my appendix, and could not think of the girl's name that was so helpful and kind. I told the surveyer that she bow hunted and her father worked for the fire department. I hoped that would be enough information for the surveyer to figure out her name and get her a very nice commendation. TJ

Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted March 16, 2010 We slayed a bunch of carp about 20 years ago, was one of the funnest things I have ever done. They were boiling and you could either practice shot placement or shoot the flock. We waded around in the shallows and really we could have shot all day long, looking at the water that long killed my eyes I should have worn sunglasses. Is there any special stamp or permit needed these days or just a hunt/fish license???
