Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Listened to the "leader" of the tea party campaign or whatever you want to call it. He threw out alot of names of senators and reps who have led the Republican party down the wrong path, McCain one of the names thrown out. The big question here is do they force the Republicans to see what the tea party wants or does the tea party just cause another splinter to the already splintered Republican party? As far as I have been able to tell I think I like what the tea party is trying to promote, what do you think of that whole mess???
coues krazy Report post Posted February 12, 2010 I am all for the tea party movement. Its time the people of this country stand up and put a stop to this crap. I believe it was Glen Beck that started this movement. Alot of people say he is just an entertainer, and should not be taken seriously. I will tell you from listening to his radio show the man backs what he says with facts. This country is headed down the wrong path at breakneck speed. I do how ever believe people are waking up,and the tea party movement is a big reason why. Its affect is being felt in Washington.
az4life Report post Posted February 13, 2010 I've heard libs say so many false things about the Tea Party supporters you know it has to be on target with what is needed and what is right financially and morally. As for Tea Partyers, they don't want a 3rd party, but rather want to take back the republican party to conservative roots. I'm behind them!
.270 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 a few years ago there was a big push to make all the illegal aliens citizens and it was going to pass and bush was going to sign it. and kyl and mccain were the leaders of the mess. there was so much backlash from the public with emails, letters and phone calls that it scared the $h!t outta DC and they backed off. mccain and kyl didn't even vote for their own proposal. they would never get reelected if they did. if you show these turd heads, and every politician eventually turns into one, that they will lose the next election if they support a particular bill, they won't vote for it. that is why obama and the democrats have not been able to pass one of his commie proposals, even with a filbuster proof majority, in over a year. that is why joizzy and virginny went republican in their gov elections and why scott brown won ted chappaquidicks ol' senate seat in mass., and it scared the heck outta all these DC jerks and it is this tea party stuff that is the root of obamas failures. his own guys are scared $h!tless of the next election. that why harry reid is as good as retired and buncha the other jokers too. this tea party deal is a dang good thing and it isn't supported by the media or any one single powerfull group or organization. it is supported by AMERICANS! tax paying, hard working, intelligent, educated AMERICANS. not commies. ghost hunter Report post Posted February 14, 2010 I've believed and told people for years, "If you don't vote...don't bitch" I've also been very afraid that the silent majority/middle class won't wake up in time to stop the train wreck that 'is a commin'. Like Lark said, the Tea Party group has been active and have scared the career politicians. I may be naive, but what a politician is voted into office to do is what is best "for this country" first, and "his district" second, not what is best for his next election, or what kind of 'under-the-table, behind closed doors' deal he can make. Where is the personal integrity? The pride in this country and what you did to help? Best rule of thumb is to leave a place better than you found it.
