josh Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Here are a couple recent critters I have been able to get close enough to shoot. I have been getting alot of animals to respond to the call but for the most part they are staying out of shotgun range. The desert coyotes have fur about as good as they will get down here. The fox was a bad shot on my part but I was able to track him down and get a couple pics before he was dispatched.He was a good size grey with a great coat. josh Report post Posted February 14, 2010 That is not a golf course but the way the desert is greening up you could probably play golf out there. The choke is a Carlson's Dead Coyote some times it is too tight like yesterday when I had a cat come up from behind and hold still at two paces from me I could have shot it but it would have blown up a $250 pelt so he got a pass.
