Guest borderboy Report post Posted February 11, 2010 That's really cool. I once found a big 4x4 muledeer in velvet that was so fresh it still had blood dripping. I found the tracks where the lion came out of the brush and jumped on it. I could see the struggle on the wet ground. The 200 lb deer was gone when I came back by in the afternoon. I would of waited for the lion to come back to finish what he started and put him to sleep!
105Coues Report post Posted February 23, 2010 I am betting he would have come back for a second helping. I killed my first lion by sitting a kill. Cool find
