Who is incharge

I was just wondering if anyone was incharge of the site right now or if they are all off working and scouting.

 

I think some changes are in need. This is a great site with great sportsmen with info that is needed for us all. I want to see it stay that wy though.

 

If you want to talk about it in A PM we can Or I will say what I fill for everyone to read If you want a vote on it.

I know she is but I know she is busy with work alot and was seeing if there was any other moderators in place or just her.

Go ahead and say it, everyone wants CHD kicked off the sight. The dude is a pain in the a$$ but isnt really breaking any rules. I would settle for the ability to block all of his bragging little tirades that must compensate for his lack of love as a child or his lack of something else. I have seen this feature on other boards and await its availability on this one.

Even though some of CHD's personal attacks are BS I kinda enjoy some of his posts, after all in all fairness he has taken some pretty serious blasts from some of the other members of CWT....one of them being me. Not to say that he has not deserved some of them. You have to admit that he can be pretty darn entertaining some times.

I know I will take some heat on this one, but if you don't want to see CHD's posts just block him out like AZ4life said.............................bracing myself.....................................ok, fire away!

Amanda will choose if and when she descides to add moderators. This is a forum. You had better to expect posts that don't have the same view point as yourself. If she doesn't like what is posted she will take care of it.

 

If you would like to see some changes post them up for common review or send Amanda an email. It is as simple as that.

Jade, I understand your issue but put in another way, would you want Amanda asking how you run your company and designing a new way you run your business while you are out on a job? I dont mean this any other way than lets just let Amanda decide how she wants to handle this. CHD intends on stirring stuff up, its fun for him and thats his thing. He does have productive information mixed in with other stuff. Dont let him or anyone else rile you up, ingnore him when he pisses you off and chime in when you want. All of us (maybe just me) would like to be validated. Some more than others but basically this internet is only one facet of life in the 2000's. It is a source of info, entertainment and communication. Chris uses it in the manner he desires and I do the same. Let the irritating stuff just run off your back..............Allen Taylor.........

I read it in another way I guess. I ask one question with a smile face. ( I think that means in a joking way). And the title was also more of a joke than an atack on the site.

 

My Question is Are there any moderators other than her. I thought that there was one other peearson but i guess not. No atack on Amanda was made at all. In fact I respect her greatly and what she has created for us here.

 

In changes I do not mean any thing about her at all or the way the site is set up. I do respect all posts by anyone that posts. I have not pointed any fingers or mintioned any one thing that needs changed. Others have just guessed what was one of the problems they think I am talking about.

 

It has more to do with us all not just one pearson. I am not inocent in most of this my self so. I will wait to hear from amanda or some one that has been given the right to speak for her.

 

I know she is very busy and to me that means she does her job very well.

 

Remember the faces are to show the way we mean words that are typed.

I think aside from that incest crap that was posted, and a few personal attacks, there is rarely ever a need to delete a post. I think Amanda has done a great job with this site and if she ever decides she needs help, I hope its not because of us.

I know I would like to see the discussion forum focus strictly on the topic of Whitetails. We often see a lot of "clutter" that really does not need to be here.

I know what you mean about the off topic items. I have even posted things that were off topic, but humorous or informative.

 

Things like that seem to pop up in any foruMaybe an "OFF TOPIC" category? and a GENERAL HUNTING (NOT COUES) would help position them at least so they don't show up where you would not expect them?

 

Anyway, Amanda does a great job, not being overprotective and deleting posts for minor infractions.

CHD chimes in and gives us all the na na, na na na about getting the out of state deer tag, and then weakly disguizes a bad w@rd. But that was nothing compared to what was f!red back him!

Mr Gaines is guessing that maybe Ernesto is offending you with his Jesus talk.

Can't blame you there (if that's what's bugging you). Jesus is one dangerous life changing dude!

I also think that Amanda does a wonderful job of not over censoring this site.

I can guarantee you don't want me doing it.
