Snapshot Report post Posted January 30, 2010 Did you do any fishing? I have not fished there in years.
kwp Report post Posted January 30, 2010 Forest Service and Game and Fish had the lake drained the last few years due to high mercury levels. It filled up a lot sooner than expected with these last storms. I would think that Game and Fish would wait a while to stock it to allow the aquatic habitat to recover. Should be good fishin again before we know it.
AZLance Report post Posted January 30, 2010 my guess would be that it would take several months for the lake to stabilize, and be able to support fish...

audsley Report post Posted February 4, 2010 Last April I joined a lot of other volunteers and AGFD personnel in putting crappie beds along the shore line. Don't worry that you weren't there to see where the structure went in. It's everywhere we could squeeze some in.
