grizzly Report post Posted January 28, 2010 These look like an affordable option to the Leica Duovids. Tried doing a research for any reviews but havent found anything other than some birder website where the guy loved them. Looking for some feedback from hunters. I am a big Minox fan, I think they give the best quality for the price point that you can find. They come in a 8-14 and a 10-15 power. http://gadgets.softpedia.com/gadgets/Optic...ulars-3395.html
Red Rabbit Report post Posted January 28, 2010 Are they still manufactured, or would you need to pick up a used pair? The 40mm objective may be a limitation with high power. From this review, sounds like only the 14x model has ED glass, not the 15x. A narrow FOV is mentioned at 10x. http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=66871
Red Rabbit Report post Posted January 28, 2010 Leupold makes a switch-power bino. 10-17x and 7-12x versions for about $1000 http://www.leupold.com/hunting-and-shootin...wer-technology/
