Sam Report post Posted February 1, 2010 Alaska for about a month. Moose, Caribou, Dall sheep, grizzly, and black bear - maybe even get over to the Aleutian Islands and find a reindeer. Of course, I would have to catch some salmon and go after a few ptarmigan. And of course, I would have to take my family........it's nice to dream. But, to hunt elk during the rut every couple of years will keep me happy.

Coach Report post Posted February 1, 2010 Unit 1 Archery Bull Elk with my sons for two full weeks. Second place, a nice Mt. Goat with a bow. 3rd Place, chasing javi's, deer and quail around the desert in January with the whole family there, some good friends too. Big campfires, big stories, broken or stuck trucks, some grilled bacon wrapped deer or pronghorn backstraps, or if hunting's been slow, shrimp. Simply hanging with family and good friends. I'd rather hunt jackrabbits with some good company than a white rhino by myself.
