willhunt4coues Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Well the thought of snow took me out to do a little coyote hunting yesterday afternoon and to try out my new Verminator Tweety call and it does work good. Only did 4 stands and had some answer on the first but nothing. The 3rd stand we saw one head over the hill and then this guy shows up at about 200 yards and I hit him with my 308 h&r but he decided he was going to run so I did the same all the way doen the hill till i rested in the snow prone at the bottom and watched him at a dead run up the hill at 300 yards and dropped him with the 22-250 h&r. I should have shot him with that gun first. Man i love the rush from the coyotes.

thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Nice job! We got out for a few stands, but couldn't get any into shotgun range. It was pretty cool just to be out in the snow for a little while.
Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Sweet! Way to get those fawn killers! I gotta get out around here and shoot some dogs... I seem to have them cross the road infront of me every time I go to the woods...
Coues Archer Report post Posted January 26, 2010 Willhunt4coues, I went out yesterday with my little brother and his new verminator long range tweety call and i had a yote come in within 30 seconds of calling. at about 55 yards or so!!!! should of took my rifle!! But i didnt, we were just experimenting to see how the call performed. It is the best call i have ever used. It produces some of the best rasps for coyotes. Awesome product.
