afmalinois Report post Posted January 23, 2010 I just wanted to say hello as a new member on the forum. I lived in AZ for three years and hunted hard every season. I was fortunate enough to have a good friend that lived in 23N who opened his house to me any time that I wanted to hunt. I drew two elk tags in the three years, 6A cow and a 23 late archery (what a bear of a hunt). I arrowed a good bull the last day that I was able to hunt, tracked him across the state (6 miles) and never found him. I wasn't able to connect on a coues, but that wasn't die to the lack of effort. I sure hope to be able to hunt the grey ghost again in the future, I'm now in Virginia (currently Baghdad...boooooo). This is a great site and I am glad to finally be a member. Keep the pictures and stories coming, they sure help fuel the fire to get home and hunt.
