Pope and Young or SCI scorers?

Recommended Posts

I harvested a non-typical 9*7 coues buck in mid September of 08. I'm not sure how to score it correctly and so I'm looking to find an official scorer from either SCI or P&Y that is somewhat close to the Gilbert, AZ region? Any recommendations or information would be appreciated!

thx,

Mike

I am a Boone and Crockett measurer and Pope and Young accepts all B&C measurers for their recordbook. I am not in Gilbert, but get to the valley occassionally.

I think P&Y has a list of measurers on their website and you can see if some are in Gilbert.

Thanks Amanda, I'll check out the website. Please let me know when you come down next time as I'd love to bring you my mount to measure.

thx,

He is actually a 9 by 7. So even if he were a 7 by 9 he'd still have 16 points.:) Don't know what he scores but I took him to Richard Tone in Gilbert...really nice guy!! He actually lives just down the block from me and i found him on Pope and Youngs website.

Thats right Chris! I remembered you but I didn't know how to get in contact with you. Man, Dick sure has a beauty of a coues in his front walkway going into his home!!

Not only is Dick a great guy, he's forgotten more about archery than most of us will ever learn --- he goes back to the days of Al Henderson in Phoenix (not to mention his days as a very successful U.S. international archery coach). He's arrowed his share of animals over the years, too ...
