What's it worth??

Recommended Posts

This old man has a Parker Trojan side by side, double trigger shotgun. He said that it's old gun. he believes it was manufactured around 1915. It has a serial number it's # 164175. It's a 12 guage in good condition . Any thoughts, I don't really like shooting 12"s over my dogs. Any thoughts???

Thanks, gonhntn

The Parker is a very classic gun, and the trojan, depending on the actual model and condition could be worth a lot of money, did a quick google search and the price range was any where from $1500-$6k. They were manufactured from the late 1880s to around world war II, remington bought Parker but discontinued production in the 1940's because they were not profitable. Parker and LC Smith were the American side by side's to have during their day, my great grandfather would only buy LC Smith or Browning shoot guns. If it's in good condition, it would be a great addition to anyones gun library.

Thanks Rio appreciate the comment. He's asking 500.00 so I guess i can't go wrong with the gun. I'd much rather have a lighter side by side.
