rare massachusetts 10pt. pope and young piebald

Hay People,

 

I just want to share a photo of my deer I shot in the 09 Massachusetts archery season. This 10 point piebald deer scored 131 gross and netted 125.5 pope and young records. Please enjoy this photo. I understand less than 1% of all the deer population exibit any piebald coloration at all. I called and rattled him in and to take this once in a lifetime trophy with a bow was the ultimate gift!

The piebalds coloring is something else. When I lived in Seattle, while driving to work there were 2 does on the out skirts of Bothell I would see now and again. Sure wish I would have got some pictures.

Are you having him mounted? Or does fish and wildlife take and do research?
