1denogean Report post Posted February 10, 2010 To get in at usery is 6 dollars a car and 2 for every person in the car
desertbucks Report post Posted February 10, 2010 That is very ridiculous that each vehicle has to pay $6 dollars and $2 for each person on a tournament that they paid $30 a person etc. It should be like Ben Avery where no fee is paid if you paid for 3D shoot! It use to be you paid the vehicle charge only and it didnt matter if you had four or two people in the vehicle

We have zero control over that and I don't like it anymore then everyone else. But with all the parks in this state on the chopping block its better then not having a range to shoot at. Thats the way I try to look at it.
1denogean Report post Posted February 10, 2010 Yeah nobody should complain it is the nicest range to shoot at in the state. Well i look at it this way people spend a ridiculous 7 dollars a pack on cigarettes and their complaining about paying to shoot at a top quality place. just my 2 cents
desertbucks Report post Posted February 11, 2010 oh ok $2 dollars for shooters, that makes sense!

crbn4runner Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Goodness, ABA is off to a good start!!! amatuers shooting with pro's, warm up on Valentine's Day, there is another 2 day shoot @ ben avery same weekend, we can at least shoot there on saturday, without getting in trouble with the war department LOL whats next !!! Oh ya at least the score cards are right, I hope.
BowNut Report post Posted February 12, 2010 The old ABA rule book I have from last year says Money Class not Pro Class. ABA has NOTHING to do with the warm up! I scheduled that. There are other things that go on that make it were we can not schedule a shoot when it is best for everyone else or for even US! You think my wife wants me to be gone all day on Valentine's Day running a shoot that she could care less about? Ben Avery has there shoot on Valentine's weekend also. Seems everyone has a beef with the ABA and the way things are being run but does anyone go to the ABA meetings? Far as I know there is no one on this site that is with the ABA or on the ABA board so these post are useless. Any more complaints please contact the ABA Thank You Dallas Usery Mountain Archers Sorry had to vent about done here.
June Report post Posted February 12, 2010 BowNut, Thanks for posting the information on the current situation. I for one appreciate the effort you and your club are doing to work things out before the start. I did not shoot the first leg last year and your information has been helpful. Thanks, again. ruthunter Report post Posted February 13, 2010 We all need to remember that the aba is for all of us who bowhunt or shoot 3d. Dallas i agree with you that you cant make everyone happy and that you guys do your best to make the shoots as fun and safe as possible. For those of you who think they can make or suggest better things in the archery world you need to go to an ABA meeting and voice your opinion. I have spoken to stoney and he has more than once encouraged the public to attend and get involved with the aba. You cant make a difference unles you try.. BowNut Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Will there be an offical SCALE at the warm up so everyone can test their equipment? So we know what to adjust before the 1st leg. I got an email from Stoney he is going to try and be at the warm up shoot with the scales on Sunday but may need to go out of town. I know some guys will push the 5gr. but I think it would be better to shoot a little less pounds or a little heavier arrow to be safe. I would hate to waist all that time over a few grains or a pound or two. Thanks everyone we will see you all there.
