WHALE Report post Posted January 7, 2010 Me and Jake went out this morning before work and spotted a herd of Mulies. I set up in front of them while Jake glassed. They got to within 150 yards and the wind changed and they were out of there. With the deer leaving we resumed glassing and picked up a lone pig about a mile and a half out. We hiked back to the truck made a circle around them and got the wind right. We stalked to within 50 yards and watched as Jake's pig walked to 26 yards and Jake double lunged him. After Jake's shot pigs were running everywhere so Jake started woofing and my pig walked in at 25 yards. I drew back and got a head shot. Great morning and then it was off to the roof.
