Lance Report post Posted January 5, 2010 We had a little fun in Southern AZ this weekend! 15 hogs in 2 days! We let the arrows fly and didn't hold back! Opening morning brought 8 javelina by 10:30 AM! That is why we have one picture of all of them! The next day we took 7 javi/hogs and they were spread throughout the whole day so I don't have all the pictures of all of them gathered up yet from all the cameras, but here are a few. We had several kids and I tell you what, these kids can whack and stack with the best of them! We did not kill them all in the same area and covered many many miles of different kinds of country to get the job done. There is no way to relate all the stories but know they were all extremely fun, exciting and rewarding! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Some of the crew opening morning! This is my 11 year old niece Lexi with her first Javelina and First Archery big game! Way to go girl! We call her "Lethal Lexi" for good reason! Jake whacked a big one. Joe whacked his first Javilina with his recurve! Alyssa took another Archery pig and it died in a mudhole. Yuck! I put my recurve away took one with the compound. And Amy took another! This is Amy's forth big game animal in the last four months! http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...showtopic=15923 During the middle of the second day we spred out realy far and some of our crew went to the other side of the mountain. We got a call from them saying they had stumbled on some feral hogs and more javelina in an area we had never hunted before. We contacted the Game and Fish and gave them the scoop on what we had found and where we had found them. They said they were Feral and they said to whack them all!!! So we gathered the kids that hadn't filled their Javelina tags yet and they commenced to put the Smack Down on all the hogs! They were all around about 70-100 lbs and just right for tender eating! And the kids had a ball and were more than happy to help out the Game and Fish! It was a late night getting back to camp from there and we had a photo sesion in the dark. For those wondering where we were when we stumbled on the hogs.... sorry, it's not my spot to tell, so please understand. This post is for enjoying the pictures and the hunt. There is another informational post on Feral hogs in this same section if you want info, and you can ask the Game and Fish. Here are the happy kids! right to left- Ty, Weston, Becky, Amy and Josh! Becky Shot the biggest one! Way to go girl, right in the heart! And congrats to all the rest that harvested! And for those that havent, filled their tags yet, looks like I have some time on my hands. so lets go! Lance Family is Everything!
