Looks like a little rut activity to me

here are a couple series of pics from some bucks that look like they are pursuing does. Seems like the little bucks always start chasing does early.

 

Look at the posture on this buck (he is in the background coming down the hill). He is doing the classic "low-stretch" and the doe moves away as he approaches. When he gets to the water he doesn't stop to drink, but follows her off cam.

they sure are not to worried about the lions in the area! the last time we saw that spot there were 2 lions sniffing around .

Maybe you should let your sweetheart know were your camera

is located when he goes to check cams with you before he starts

chasing you around the creek bottoms
