azhuntnut Report post Posted December 28, 2009 I finally dropped the hammer on a buck Saturday evening. After nine days in the field and passing on other bucks, I decided to shoot this buck I had seen several times throughout my hunt. I was holding out for a really big buck I found, but he was impossible to find in the thick brushy area I was hunting. This is my first buck with a muzzy, and I think I am hooked. I was using a Barnes Spit-fire T-EZ with Buckhorn 209 powder that produced very good accuracy out to 200 yards. My Thompson Center has the Nikon Omega scope with the BDC reticle in it.
