elkaholic Report post Posted December 25, 2009 hello - anytime i hunt a unit or area I'm not familiar with I go to G&F website and look up the unit - AJO- the best bet is here - give you best spots and how to access them - http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/hunting_units_40b.shtml also check out unit 40A looks like slim pickins around Ajo - but anywhere south /east of you should be great hunting. find a mountain and hunt the north eastern draws and ridges to start - have fun - Gary Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BELLOTABUCKS Report post Posted December 26, 2009 get out and find some water, real low desert mulies seem to be few and far between any more but still do exist. find some irrigation or stock ponds spend a few sunsets glassing them from a distance. or put a trail cam nearby. good luck its pretty dry out there.
