Do you believe that the word God should stay in American culture?

 

NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest Number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the Percentage was the same as this:

 

86% to keep the words, IN God We Trust and God in the Pledge of Allegiance

14% against

 

That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

 

It is said that 86% of Americans believe the word God should stay.

 

Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having 'In God We Trust' on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Why is the world catering to this 14%?

I think it is a matter of the USA becoming such a "melting pot" of different cultures,religions, and underground political incorrectness, that some factions like to cater to the minority.

 

I believe in freedom of religion, and too each his own. But this country was founded on "In God we Trust"

 

And don't forget the fact that, "the media" just likes to stir that pot as much as po$$ible!

 

The way I look at it is, this is "God's Country" if the minority don't like it, then "Get the H#ll out" and don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

Because the 14% are usually loud mouth Mo-Fos themselves, they band together to push their beliefs or opinions on what they feel is best for everyone (especially themselves), They have politically connected do-gooders (I call them dumba$$es) and the media as their mega-phone.

I hope I'm not getting off topic here but I think is something related to this:

 

Last week in the news paper (maybe some of you read it or saw it) a School teacher asked the class (8 year old kids) to draw something related to Christmas. Well, one of the kids drew a picture of Jesus Christ; guess what?? The kid was sent home because the teacher got so upset and got the kid out of the class.

The father of the kid was so upset that wanted a apology from school officials.

 

That was all the newspaper said, I dont know the end of this mess; but, my question is: What we had became to? Isn't Christmas about Jesus Christ? Ggsssssssss man and dont know where we going to end up! (well maybe I know but that's another topic)
