Good luck to all and i'll be thinking about you guys who didn't get drawn when i'm up in those cool pine trees. Just kidding ,,, been there before. sad thing is it won't be the last time. Arizonabowhunter Report post Posted July 21, 2005 Drew a 5bn. cow tag, and my 2 brothers and 2 nephews drew bull tags archery for the same area. I also drew a whitetail tag with my 2 boys for November in unit 33. Looking forward to it my little one has never gone, he is 12 yrs old, and this will be his first time. love2hunt Report post Posted July 22, 2005 For the first time ever in 23 years for coues tags, I didn't draw my first or 2nd choice. I ended up with 3rd chioce oct 30B. It beats staying at home. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its a first shutout for me also as far as coues goes. What gives ? maybe I've been fortunate in the past or has the coues craze caught on with the masses I hope not. I did get drawn for an antlerless elk 5b south. WMK Report post Posted July 27, 2005 I was drawn for : Archery Elk in the Gila's, NM Oryx on WhiteSands, NM Rifle deer in 16, NM and in 31 (NOV) for deer, AZ This will be the second time in 23 yrs that I will get to hunt with my Dad. Why 23yrs? I'm in the ARMY and our schedules (and the draw) didn't always click. Can anyone give me a starting point for scouting in 31?
