Shed?

I don't know if this is considered a shed, but I thought it was a pretty neat pickup; and the first one I ever found or seen. About a month ago I went out to check my camera and almost stepped on this tiny little tortious shell.

man just a little guy. great find! anybody know the legality of picking one up. i though i heard somewhere it was a no no. i dont think it would stop me though

I would have picked it up and made the post also.

 

Sure wish our GF guys that are their vocal representatives

would be more active on sites like this to provide input more often.

 

I do not to mean to hijack this topic but dang it,

if they want to RETAIN/recruit hunters they need to communicate better.

as most of us do not and can not attend the meetings and times have changed

to where this is the best source for them to communicate with the average hunters

and dang sure the best hunters because they are HERE and talking.

as far as i know its only illeagal to pick up the live 1's. my dad picked one up about 20-30 years ago, we still have it in the backyard, it just eats the grass

I brought the shell to Game & Fish this morning. They looked at it, said it was legal and let me keep it.

good to hear. i wouldnt have been able to bring it in, i would be scared they would take it . I would have kept it. I have always wanted a desert tortise shell to display. That one looks like it has a ton of color in it. more than the ones i have seen. congrats!
