Potential for a big monsoon surge next week as hurricane Emily reaches the northeast coast of Mexico. It is expected to being a lot of rain inland. That's where we get the monsoon's from.

I was heading back from Flagstaff today on I-17 and saw two (maybe just one) fire between Camp Verde and the Dugas/Orme Rd exit. It was maybe a mile east of the freeway. There was a decent sized monsoon forming northeast of them so hopefully the rain got them under control.
