ScottAdams Report post Posted July 15, 2005 I went to the grand opening of the new Cabela's in Fort Worth, Texas this morning. What a blast!!! I met Chuck Adams and some of the other hunting celebrities. I somehow made it of there for only $300. We all need to try to make the Grand Opening of the one in Glendale, they are really nice. Bring lots of cash though. Scott

KGAINES Report post Posted July 17, 2005 I want my wife to get a job there, then I'll have even more reasons to go. That would also allow for the extra money that would be spent there with an employee discount.
ScottAdams Report post Posted July 17, 2005 Dan they didn't have any seminars that I saw. There were hunting celebs but they were selling books and dvd's and signing autographs. Man what a place though. I'll try to post a couple of photos if I can get a chance. Scott
ScottAdams Report post Posted July 17, 2005 Ok, here's a photo I took at Cabelas. The place was packed. Here's one of me and "Cousin" Chuck. These last photos I took in Ark. of my youngest son with a nice 24 inch Brown he caught this week.

Traveler Report post Posted July 21, 2005 I went Tuesday and Wednesday evening while I was there. All the celebs were gone and it was not crowded at all. It is an awesome store. I hope they have that much taxidermy in the store here. I could spend a day just dreaming, looking at all the monster mulies they had. Since I have already spend thousands in mail order this year I did not "need" much. I did buy some of the lightweight camo rainwear. Dan
