It means don't do things that we know we'll be sorry for. At least not knowingly and willingly. It doesn't only mean don't take un-necessary chances, put someone else in danger. It also means preserve the dignity, and do not cause further harm in any way. It also means don't talk smack. It's easy to judge from the sidelines and even easier when you're not there. I really doubt that the FF who died would do to you, what you are doing to him. But, get no pleasure from me. You did not cause any anger. It's your hole and your smell. Peace.
