AZantlerhead Report post Posted December 10, 2009 It was a long and enjoyable hunting season and we picked up some of the "animal litter" along the way. Heres a couple phone pics, it's all I got right now. 6 deer heads/1 elk head, and the sheds pictured. Three of the large elk sheds were glassed up and the rest we tripped over.We also left allot of bone where they lay, and heads we didn't have interest in ( too fresh or too old/small).A pile we left in ? was 9 chalkie mulie antlers on a fenceline. We found a good mix of " browns" , hard whites, chalkies and skulls. The main highlight was another four weeks in the woods with Pop. My biggest Coues pick up Found one of his sheds aaprox.10 feet away from head, smart lion Set of palmy elk sheds Nice siderack dropped last spring in NM Dad found this Muley with probly 5 1/2 bases, 28 spread Realy old 110-120 head, what a shame This dude was lion killed on the day he was shedding his horns, one is still half shed on the skull, the other is a cleanly shed antler, laying under the same tree Old but nice rack I found in a wash in the slope of a large mountain : ) The one that came with meat, My 09" ML coues, he broke his passenger side G-2(when he slammed the rocks) but I fixed. My dad had the other three tags and got skunked : ( . More and better pics when I can.
