coues4u Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Hello fellow outdoorsman. I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I recently purchased a Wildview trail camera and I'm happy with it so far. I've got a few pics of some deer and I notcied that on the pics it shows the moon phase in the bottom right hand corner of every photo. Does anybody know if you have to set the moon phase to what it is at the time you set the camera out??? Or does it automatically know what the moon phase is somehow??? DubTee Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Not quite sure about the wildviews, but on my moultrie if you set the correct date the moon phase should be taken care of.
AZP&Y Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Coues4u, Here is a chart that better describes the wildview moon values. Basically when the moon is all black that = a FULL MOON> & yes by programing the date it knows which moon phase is correct. Then the smalllest slices of moon (either pointed left or right) = going towards or away from a New Moon. Jun 07 2009 was a FULL MOON- Pardon the ELK"S MOON! Hey post up some wildview pics- for 100.00 bucks these cams ROCK! WELCOME TO COUESWHITETAIL! AzP&Y
