Ernesto and I both took the Hunter Education INSTRUCTORS course and became Instructures for the Game and Fish in Yuma in 2003 I believe. We taught about 3-4 classes together... He took me on my first Coyote hunt beind Mittry lake. We set up on a hill before sunrise, he is screaming on his mouth call. I'm about 20yards infront of him... After about 2 minutes Ernesto is screaming James James help help... I turn around and see him poking a fox with the barrel of his rifle. its attacking his boot. I'm scared out of my mind (first hunt for things that bite) I yell KICK IT!!! and he does. It runs about 20 yards away and turns and looks at him. BANG I took it out with his .222. He was an old fox.
