firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 Well, Josh... You would be proud... First stand this morning, 6 minutes in. This big old female came in to DSG Cottontail! I was standing up next to a mesquite, looked to the right, then looked back left and this cat was standing about 10 feet from the call at about 30 yards. The wind was blowing from my left to right. She came in on the left side, with the wind on her back. I raised my 870, and sent 3" #4 buck down range and knocked her straight down! To say I was pumped is a understatement! My Bud, Chad has never killed a dog so I was trying like helll to get him his first animal, but that was a no go! Oh well, that is the first cat I have called and killed!
