Thanks for my family

thanks for my wife

Thanks to my mom

for giving me life

Thanks for our children

who make us proud

Who at their activities

make us cheer so loud

Thanks for this country

with soldiers so brave

Who will fight for our honor

and all the lives they will save

Thanks for our god

and his heavenly grace

And all the game that we love

for each year we give chase

To the highest peak

and the deepest draw

To chase that buck

that we knew we saw

That morning before light

he watered at that tank

And ah yes

Even a buck can give thanks

As for now he lays in the shade

under that scrub oak tree

He thinks to himself

I can see you

But you can't see me

 

Happy Thanksgiving everyone I know times are tough for us all, but we are Americans, we will pull through!
