If you can get over to Ross Outdoors, it would be your best bet. You can rent Swaro 15's along with a tripod. Last time I rented, it was $35 a day (including the tripod).

this guy is dreaming

This guy is 15 and all he really has are dreams.

But I give the kid alot of credit for what he tries to do

at a young age ;)

Answered your post on TAH, Mine aren't for sale but you can borrow to try out. I know you're the kid that went to the youth camp, killed a nice deer, won a few prizes and made a good impression with some standup guys. If I had swaros you couldn't borrow them but you can my bruntons.

I agree with you 100%. I don't think you're gonna find too many 15 year olds that have the drive for hunting this young man has. Great back up GameHauler.

:) Heck I'm 41 and still dreaming. Deserthuntr, don't give up. I progressed through 10x50 bushnell sportviews, Nikon Monarch 10x42 ATB's, Steiner Predators 12x50. Finally had to sell a vehicle to get my Swaro 15's. Keep it up you are on the right track.

Nothing wrong with being an educated shopper. I've heard good things about the Monarch 12x56 ATBs. I bet mounted on a tripod they would be pretty good. I was going to get a pair when I got my Steiners, but opted for the Steiners anyway. I have spotted a bunch of game here in NM with the 10x42 ATBs on a tripod.

Goodluck,

Good luck, kid. Try all the binos you can.... beg and borrow... and buy more than you can afford.... you won't regret it! ;)

Conor has killed more big animals than some of us already, loves the outdoors and is a great kid with a huge passion for hunting. I know your looking at some to buy, but if you ever want to borrow my swaro's and I'm not using them, ( I guess if I wasn't using them, I would be out with you guys lol) you can borrow them. I hear good things about the Vortex and I may be able to get a used pair for a good price.

I have looked through the Brunton's before and they were pretty nice glass. They seemed to be really clear, but gave me cross-eye after looking through them for a while (that's just me). I looked through a guys 15 Minox before and they did the same thing for me. Like many have said, keep saving for the really good glass. Many guys will say to save til' you have enough to get them and forgo a cheaper pair, but I think you should buy a lower end to get you by for the mean time, then save for the really good glass. It'll happen. Just stay determined. ;)

ive got a pair of the brunton 15x51 eternas thier definantly a nice glass but i think for the money the nikon monarchs are the way to go thier a little brighter than mine in early and late conditions! Also seen a pair of 12x50 cabelas alaskan guide series binos at cabels in the bargain cave for 450$, and thos are to me as clear as swaros! A buddy of mine has them an i looked through them and then a pair of 15 swaros right next to em in the field an could see better through the cabelas!!!!!! Just my opinnion!
