John O Report post Posted November 17, 2009 I am wanting to get my son into a reasonable starter hunting bow. Doesn't have to be the fanciest, but would like something decent. At a minimum, it needs to be at least 40 lbs so he can hunt with it. He is 12 years old, 5 ft 8 in, and growing fast.
