matthewp45 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 There is a husband and wife team that run a great butcher shop out of there house. They live over behind the airport. They have done a couple of animals for me and they do a tremendous job. All the sausage, burger, roasts and steaks were prepred perfect and all the meat has always tasted great. They are very fast and the packaging is great as well. There number is 928-474-5544. If Clay from Mogollon Taxidermy is reading he knows them very well. Great people. I would highly recomend them. audsley Report post Posted November 15, 2009 If MathewP45 is talking about the people I think he is, they're great. The guy is or was a butcher at Basha's when we used him a few years back for a couple of elk and an antelope. They have a small sign out in front of their house which is out past the airport. I want to say it's something like Rim Country Meat. They do an outstanding job.

Yep, Ron and Marianne, they've been doing it 20 yrs that I know of, super clean setup, your animal is all you'll get back. Take the number and call when you get something. Only place I'll go if I don't butcher myself or recomend, I don't butcher for friends anymore. They did 3 elk for our group this year and I have a freezer of their cuts, good as always. They had shops set up at their last 2 homes, Just not sure if he has set up at the new place. I think Jeremy cut for and with Noah since they work together. I have also heard lots of good about Ron and Marianne. There is one in Star Valley and another in Round Valley that Gino uses. I should compile a list of all the contacts and have it ready. You won't be disapointed with Terry or with Ron & Marianne Buehring by the airport... all first rate folks, and the only butchers I will use.
