TAIL CHASER Report post Posted November 19, 2009 If you don't want to go throught the hassle of doing it yourself call Western Skulls. You can get the number off the internet. They use the beetles and it is very reasonably priced compared to a Taxidermist.

BML Report post Posted November 20, 2009 volume 40 developer creme spread it on the boiled and cleaned skull set it in the sun for about an hour or two and youll have a snow white skull after you rinse it off Interesting. This is the stuff I use but I was always under the impression that you have to keep that stuff moist for it to continue working. I brush the stuff on as liberally as possible, cover and place in a cool place like the garage overnight and it works great. Sounds like placing it directly in the sun is easier and quicker. I think I will try that method next time.
wildcat Report post Posted November 20, 2009 I clean the skull as well as I can then boil it in water with dawn dish soap. I take it out and pick at all the stuff thats left then boil it again. I repeat that process until it's completely clean. Then I let it soak in peroxide overnight. I use the brown bottle stuff thats 3% I believe. Here's a couple I did:
