My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 13, 2009 Nice find! On my hunt this year, I found four coues sheds, none of which were very small! One had a nice cheater point coming off the G3, which was pretty large already. I found three of the four on our last day of hunting, as well as the day my buddy shot his nice coues. I need to get some pictures of the group of sheds (plus the one my friend found). Nice little collection. I think the combined total of the five sheds was scoreable 22 points. Fun times! Guest borderboy Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Nice sheds hey. They are always cool to find. I was just talking with dad and he reminded me of a whitetail hunt when I was just a kid following him and trying to keep up. We were in 30A on the south side of the Rucker Canyon road. We topped a high ridge - west slope- and there were lots of sheds. It was a place with oak and manzanita and kind of "cozy". I remember vaguely but there were many antlers on the ground. I've never seen another place like that and I never went back. I did a ride-along with the Wildlife Manager once and told him. He said he knew the place but we didn't discuss it further. Wish I had a camera back then, and now so I could share some of my deer and antlers.
