GameHauler Report post Posted November 7, 2009 I am quoting these from a book my Girls gave me years ago. I will add one every few days if they are enjoyed and please feel free to add any of your own you may have. I need to do something while I recover "What part of NO don't you understand?" Every day, all over the world, dads and their kids engage in the following kind of exchange Kid: Dad, can I go to the Ruptured Spleen concert tonight? Dad: No Kid: But everybody's going! Dad; No Kid: But I've already bought tickets for fifty-five dollars each! Dad: No Kid: I've got a date and a ride and everything! Dad: What part of No don't you understand? OK one more for the opener. "If Jessie jumped of the bridge, would you?" This theoretical question is Dad's attempt to thwart peer pressure-- ang get himself off the hook. Usually used to rebuff typical kid arguments like: But Jessie gets to stay out all night! But Jessie has a motorcycle! But Jessie's Dad let him shave his head! But Jessie got his nipples pierce!
