bowsniper Report post Posted November 6, 2009 Hey Guys, Desert Christian Archers, National Wild Turkey Federation, and friends are putting on a raffle and auction to benefit Marvin's wife, Barbara. Marvin passed away two weeks ago just after taking a muzzle loader buck in 6A. Marvin was one of the Top Turkey Hunters and Guides in the Country. Up for action will be live turkeys (just in time for Thanksgiving), guns, a new living room sofa set, and various hunting related stuff. Also, Marvin's turkey hunting calls, CD's, DVD's, and other Timberline products will be on sale. There will be a Turkey dinner for $5.00. Even if you didn't personally know Marvin, plan to attend for the auction and everything else. Everyone is welcome! If you have something that you would like to donate to the auction, please send me a PM. Thanks and God Bless, Mark Marvin_Robbins_Tribute_Banquet.pdf Marvin_Robbins_Tribute_Banquet.doc

GameHauler Report post Posted November 6, 2009 Hey Mark, I will not make it but maybe you guys could do a raffle for something for the folks that can not come. That should really help generate some funds for his wife. Just a thought.

bowsniper Report post Posted November 7, 2009 Any chance of moving this to a Saturday? Saturday would probably be better for a lot of people, but it's set up for Tuesday, and we'll have to keep it there. Sorry. I would like to thank Kurt Larson, "GodIsGood", for donating the live, fat turkeys to the auction! Mark
