scoutpylot Report post Posted November 4, 2009 Alex....I don't know you but I feel that I must say that you are treading on very thin ice. What you are proposing is against the agreements you signed to register at the auctions (any and all dealer auctions), and unless you have a "brick and mortar" new or used car lot, it violates your dealers' licence agreement you signed with the state of Arizona. The dealer auctions are just that ----FOR DEALERS. It is not your personal used car lot on Thrursdays or Wednesdays depending on which auction you plan to attend. Do what the rest of us do...... Buy a car (or a few cars) at good prices, do a proper safety check on them, and then put them out for sale. Someone will by your car and you will make some money. But don't CHEAT!!! There is always someone who will buy the cars. Just do your homework (SCOUT) study your market, and make smart purchases. Buy right so you can sell right! There is money to be made selling cars if you are above board in your dealings, but sooner or later if you cheat....you will get caught and you will have to face what is coming to you. Noble of you to offer this luxury to all your friends and neighbors, but I'm afraid it's not yours to offer. To a fellow car dealer (retired) you are being just like the hunter who comes to this site and expects to just put up a post and be told where the 100" buck lives, and with exact GPS coordinates to boot! Sorry for the rant, but you are out of bounds!

game hntr Report post Posted November 4, 2009 scoutpylot HOW DO I CHEAT??????????? BY HELPING OUT MEMBERS OF THE SITE??????????? TAX it will be paid.. dealer fee will be paid HOW DO I CHEAT?? I have lots of friends that i help out. BY charging $700 fee + %8.3 tax I don't think I cheat. I think you are a car dealer too and you may have hard times to sale your cars, well before to buy a car check the car fax and make sure it's 1 owner car or max 2 owners car and then do a Pre Post Inspection on it. Let's say... a 2006 altima, you get it for $5000-$6000 How much are they selling for on Auto Trader or CRAIGSLIST. ALL I wanted to do is help fellow members from this SITE. BTW.. I have lurking this site for many years and I learn and enjoy it a lot. I don't have lots of posts BUT i have Respect for all this guys from here for keeping up this site with their great stories, picture and knowledge. If you can explain me How do i cheat, I would like to hear it. and (explain it pls because I'm European and my English is not that great and i don't' want to make a mistake when i read) I delete the post because i don't like people to complain. If members of the site will write me PM's about the TOPIC i have made and if they agree with that. I will be posting it back. If not i will leave it like it is. scoutpylot Report post Posted November 4, 2009 I am not blaming you for trying to make a few bucks. I have made my living in the car business for most of my life. Nothing wrong with giving buddies and family special treatment. Afterall what are friends for? The cheating is in the agreements you signed with the auction companies when you registered your dealership. The agreements clearly state that you will NOT bring in people to the auction who are not either owners of the dealership or employees of the dealership. Did you read what you signed? You also are cheating by violating the agreements you signed with the state to get your dealer licence. Unless you have a physical "RETAIL" location you can only wholesale cars to other dealers. If you have a store front then you are legitimate according to the state to engage in "retail" sale to the public. I know how much of a hassle it is to get a dealers licence, don't jeprodize all that work by playing out of bounds. I didn't have any trouble selling the cars I had because I bought smart, and sold at reasonable prices and stood behind what I sold! I had a loyal customer base and relied on mostly on repeat business and word of mouth recomendations to keep my business going for more than 25 years. You can do the same! Read what you agreed to and live by what you put your name on.
