scoutpylot Report post Posted October 29, 2009 I have a Tikka T3 (.223win) that I am going to be putting a scope on soon. This will be my varmint tool once it is set up. I was wondering if anyone is using the Vortex Viper scopes and have any comments good or bad about this scope. I was thinking of the 6.5 -20 x 50mm with the target dot reticle. The price on this scope fits the budget, but I don't have any experience with this company. Will I be disappointed with this scope or should I just delay my purchase until I can afford a better scope? Any input would be appreciated!
cramerhunts Report post Posted October 29, 2009 I have a Vortex Viper 4-12x40 with the V-Plex and absolutely love it. The clarity and magnification is wonderful and it gathers light really good. I am very impressed with the Viper line and will be purchasing another one when the need arises. You also can't beat their warranty either. Give Doug at Cameraland a call and he'll be able to answer any questions and give you the best price....he is also a sponser of this site!
TAM Report post Posted October 29, 2009 I put a Vortex Viper 3-9 X 40 on my TC Encore and love it! I have been very impressed with the clarity and sharpness of the picture. The scope seems to be built very well and although I've not had any reason to use the warranty it's pretty much the best around. I also got mine from Doug at Camera Land and got a great deal. Good luck!
