scoutm Report post Posted October 20, 2009 I was fortunate enough to draw this special tag and I'm looking for helpful advice anyone might wish to offer. I hate the thought of e-scouting but since you're not allowed on range until the day of your hunt and since the maps they have provided to date are so poor I see no other option. I have been a guest on this hunt once before so I've been on base and I'm familiar with the process so what I'm really looking to hear about are area's that have good water, areas to glass from, what kind of success people have had in the flats vs. the mountainous areas. On the hunt I was a guest on we spent most of our time East of Road 7 and North Road 20. Any knowledge of the other areas would be greatly appreciated. I was surprised to see how much of the range was visible on Google Earth but unfortunately very little of it shows names. The maps provided also lack names for areas. We are suppose to get more detailed maps the morning of the hunt. Thanks for the help and please excuse the e-scouting. Larry
PSEps Report post Posted October 24, 2009 Oryx are evrywhere on range. Just find a huntable group. Dont waste a whole day on a group far away. Every place is just as good as the next. Good luck
