shortpants Report post Posted October 28, 2009 I have owned 3 blinds, 2 ameristep and another I can't remember who made it. All 3 have the same flaw imo. Where the 4 poles come together into that little 4-way piece of hardware the pockets that the poles are glued into are plastic. All 3 of my blinds are broken because of this. The poles don't break but the pockets that they glue into break when I try to fold up the blind. I'm following the directions so I don't know what to do??? azhunter23 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 Double Bull all the way. I have the new ground swat camo and have had it up in the desert and in the pines and never had an animal think twice about it. I never leave out I pack it in and out. I also do very little to brush it in.
SouthernCouesHunter Report post Posted October 28, 2009 I have a Ameristep Intimidator and 2 Ameristep Brickhouse blinds and love them. Had 3 people sitting in the Intimidator a few weeks ago for my son's elk hunt and had no problems. Sets up in a few moments, a little tricky getting it back down. You have to collapse the sides in a specific order to get it to break down correctly. Haven't owned a Double Bull but that will be my next purchase.

tjhunt2 Report post Posted November 1, 2009 I just spent a week hunting out of an Ameristep blind while my double bull sat in camp. It was only because it was already setup where I was hunting. I don't like the zippers or the velco but it is worth the money. I lift the blind up and crawled under neath instead of unzipping each time. TJ
Garage Logic Report post Posted November 29, 2009 I have not used the DB blinds... I have a Primos GroundMax that I picked up from Cabelas for $120. It is a really good blind for the money and has served me well. I have a friend who has the Ameristep Bone Collector model, and he really likes that blind as well. I dont think you can go wrong with either the Primos, Ameristeps or the DB's
