forum down

Recommended Posts

Has the talk forum been down a lot for you guys lately? Seems like about every 4th time I try to get on I get a server error. I check another site and all is fine.

It was down for several hours yesterday morning. And it was down after they did the transfer to a new server last month. Other than that, I don't think there have been any issues.

I'm actually experiencing that now! I tried to just type in "Coueswhitetail.com" in the address bar and the google tool bar keeps saying "Oops! This link appears to be broken." I ended up going into my email and using a link from there to get on. I have no idea what the problem is.

Having the same issue. I had to find a link that took me directly to the forum. Coueswhitetail.com won't work. At least for me.

I have the forums bookmarked, as opposed to the cwt home page

I have the forum bookmarked as well and neither that or the main page will work.

I could get into the main website but when I clicked on the forums it was not found and I got a server error.

Just an FYI - the main site and the forum are hosting on different servers. So when one goes down the other is generally still up. Yesterday the main site had some difficulty but it is fixed. Best to keep both bookmarked.

Sometimes you need to delete your cache. When you click on the link it looks in the cache first to try saving time. If that address is bad then it keeps giving you errors. Delete the cache and it goes out and finds the site again. Probably not the best explanation but close.

You are correct. Some people have their browsers set to automatically find the latest version of the page and some just pull up the cached version so it loads faster. Deleting temp internet files and cookies can help.
