ron b Report post Posted September 29, 2009 Hi, I am new to the forum and just want to say hello. I picked up a leftover tag for 35a and will give it a try. I am from the midwest and your way of hunting out here is alot different, but I am going to give it my best try. I have talked to Game and fish ,have maps for the forests, have been researching coues deer, had alot of help from individuals from another site, will start scouting this weekend, etc etc etc. I have noticed that there is a wealth of knowledge here and I hope to be a contributing member when the time comes. luvdemcoues Report post Posted September 29, 2009 Welcome Ron! Although I am from Arizona, I didn't start hunting coues until a few years ago. Never thought it possible for me to to be more enamored with coues deer than mule deer, but it has gotten that way. Good luck to you!

Red Rabbit Report post Posted September 30, 2009 Ron, Welcome. Since you are new to coues hunting, possibly Duwane Adams glassing seminar http://www.arizonabiggamehunting.com/ would be of value to your young coues career. He would be a great source of info on hunting coues. Possibly you could also find someone from CWT.com with a 35A tag also and combine scouting trips or hunt together to increase the learning curve. Best of luck on your hunt. Doug~RR

Red Rabbit Report post Posted September 30, 2009 Ron, If you go scouting this weekend, take some good pics (wide panos) of the various areas you are considering (maybe not of your first choice though) and post them. We could look at them and help give you ideas how we would hunt them. Kinda like this, but pics with a wider angle to show more terrain. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...showtopic=15387 or http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...c=12905&hl=
