Well Doug did it again. I bought one of the Zeiss Conquests from his latest online ad here. Ordered it Thursday,

went online to track it this morning (Tuesday) and it said it was delivered! Sure enough while I was getting ready for work my Wife signed for it and put it on the kitchen table. There was also a hat and a pound of coffee they're selling (I guess). No problem having extra weight in there as they pick up the freight.

I just received a new 3X9 Pentax scope from Doug yesterday evening! It was delivered quickly as promised, and after a little SNAFU with my rental office, I got my hands on it yesterday!

 

My dad (who is too elderly to hunt much anymore...) gave me his old .7MM this fall. It's a Remington BDL, and I'm having the scope mounted on it this week! Should be a great combination! With all of the tags that my kids have this fall, it will also be great to add this new long range shooter to our gun safe!!!

 

Folks should pay close attention to the close-outs & such that Cameraland posts here occasionally. Depending on what you need/want at the time, there are some very nice deals there! GREAT SERVICE DOUG! Thanks much!!

I have ordered a ton of stuff from them. I do not win either !! But they do gie great service and their prices are very hard to beat. Shipping is extra quick also.

 

I ordered a new tripod adapter last week and received it two days later. Can't beat that from East to West shipping.

I just got off the phone ordering a rifle scope from Doug and he not only was polite and personable on the phone but he knows what he is doing! My scope is coming with a free pair of binoculars and the price was unbeatable locally or on line elsewhere! Great family people and great Americans!

 

On a side bar, if any of you could direct me towards a local place that has 30mm rings (matte black -highs)for a Tikka 270WSM I would appreciate it very much. If not local then I guess on line would be alright too! Thanks folks, Broken Wheels!

I order all my gun parts from www.brownells.com if you call them they have great customer service and let you know bases you need and rings. They are very helpful and know their business well. It is usually cheaper than I can find it local and service I get from them is better than any local shop I have experienced.
