COUESAZ Report post Posted September 22, 2009 Well atleast you got to kill some yotes man. Was that close the sot i told you about. We have always had luck on yotes in those finger ridges going south off the mountain. I know there are some big bucks in that area. You just have to be lucky enough to glass them when they move to get back in the shade. They will lay right down in those wash out spots. I saw a bug 5x5 one day. It was in a real thing wash that was anot to wide to jump over on foot. It was right in a bend with a small tree over it. I saw that buck stand up and stretch and then lay right back down in the crack in the ground again. You would never have seen him if he did not stand while your glass was right on him. He was on a road that headed south to the tracks just by that power sup station on the way to the peaks. Are the gates locked when you get right at the base of the mountain range.
