newbee Report post Posted June 4, 2005 any one use em? I just got one and it seems to be hitting (my fletching[just one]) any one else have clearance problems
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 4, 2005 I have used the DropZone for a couple of trouble-free years and really like it. You could spray the fletching and rest with powdered foot spray to check for contact. Also, check the rest to cable connection to be sure that the arm is rising at the last moment/dropping at the first moment. Another thing to check is whether the cable guard is far enough out. Maybe the one fletching is hitting the cable. RR
galiuro mountain man Report post Posted June 5, 2005 My dad had this problem also. Three things to try are 1) put cock vane up on all arrows, 2) set timing on rest to come up 1" to 2" from full draw, 3) I have seen one rest where the cord was contacting the arrow, The cord was twisting and hitting the arrow. The best way to check is like Red Rabbit said. The foot powder works. GMM
bowsniper Report post Posted June 5, 2005 Ditto on what galiuro mountain man said. I have two and once you get them tuned you can forget about them. Bowsniper

runningbird Report post Posted June 6, 2005 It's like everything else in setting up a bow. when you make a change you need to make an adjustment. Just play with your nock till you get clearance.
