Any rutting activity

Recommended Posts

Just got back from northern AZ. Seems that the rut will start late up there. Bulls were still running with each other and did not hear much bugling. Anyone else experiencing the same in their unit??? I hope it picks up for the archery hunt. Maybe cause of the dry weather. Anyway just wondering if it is the same over the whole state.

That is the same thing that happened last year by 6b. Bulls are rutting latter in the season my friend ended up getting a bull the last day of the bow hunt. The elk did start to rut slowly in the middle for the bow hunt it’s as if the hunt should start in the middle of the week instead. I think that has been happening for the pass few years

I have a 6A south tag. I thought Strawberry was in that unit? Am I wrong? I would greatly appreciate any help from you GOODoleBOYS if you had some spots to sit.

I have been hearing some bugling down here in 24a and were at around 5000 to 6000 ft but that doesnt really matter cause I dont have a tag and 24a only gives 5 out for the late hunt, but we do have some good bulls!
