jackmedic Report post Posted September 6, 2009 My friends and I were drawn for unit 20A. It is an antlered deer. I haven't hunted this area before. Any suggestions? azhunter23 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 Good luck finding a whitetail in that unit. Mule deer are hard enough to find in that unit. I have seen some nice mulies just east of kirkland junction. +1 Tough country to find deer in but there in there..Wear long sleeve shirt and pants or you will get tore up. king4wd Report post Posted September 6, 2009 I live and work in 20a. Never have I seen a coues in this unit. Just carp. If you're looking for respectable size (3x3 or bigger) Stay away from the lower flat stuff. Get into the rugged thick stuff away from all the road warriors. Avoid areas just outside of town. Majority of buck I see people take and that I get on camera are forkies. Not a lot of bigguns in here but they can be found. Start scouting now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
